Darlene Trew Crist

Darlene Trew Crist has been a freelance writer and editor for the past two decades. While she’s written everything from magazine articles to technical journals to books American Gargoyles: Spirits in Stone, her primary focus is science writing, where she helps translate scientific findings into language that is readily understood by all.  Currently, she writes for the Census of Marine Life, an international scientific collaboration studying the biodiversity of the global oceans and how it is changing over time. She is also writing a book about the Census and its discoveries, which is set for publication in 2009.
